Mitzva of Mishloach Manot

On the day of Purim, there is a mitzva d’Rabbanan to give mishloach manot, a gift of  (at least) two different foods to one person. The food must ready to eat, and not in a raw/unprepared state.

It is absolutely permitted to gift two different foods that share the same beracha.
